Our inspiration comes from our cultural upbringings (Cuban, Puerto Rican, and American). We want to take a moment to honor all those musical pioneers that came before us. First and foremost, we pay respect and tribute to the African origins of and continued contributions to Latin music. Brought to the Americas in the cruel chains of slavery, and yet producing our most beautiful vibrant cultural heritage.

We honor the contributions of all those Puerto Rican and Cuban musicians who came before us, blending African rhythms with European harmony, creating the world’s greatest music in the process. We are but humble students of these great predecessors.

We believe in the power of music to cut across cultures, time, space, and to bring people together. Our music is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Our greatest hope is that our music will both make your body move and motivate you to learn more about the musical traditions that have shaped and inspired our lives.
